WHY WE GIVE

Journey does not shy away from the fact that any organization needs money to operate. That said – we also believe that the core motivation for why we give as a group is different than the reasons people may donate to any other organization. Our motivation springs from the very heart of God. God is love, so we love. God is kind, so we show kindness. God gives, so we are called to be generous.

Romans 8:32 describes a generous God who wants to graciously bless his children.
James 1:17 reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from God.
John 3:16 teaches us that God gave His only son so that we might have eternal life.

Just how generous is God? He gave us His only son. And when you give, you do more than meet the needs of your church. You make a choice to take on the resemblance of the One who first breathed life into you.

When you give, you fulfill part of the divine purpose God has for your life—and the divine purpose God has for the world as a whole. You don’t just respond to a need – you do what you were created to do. You don’t just support something – you take a tangible step to fulfill your created purpose.

As you embark on the journey of giving – Journey commits to a style of ministry that is no-frills and focused on putting money into the community more than into a building!

WAYS TO GIVE

We recognize that a large number of us no longer carry cash and use credit cards as a way of paying monthly bills. Below are
options that are the easiest and most cost effective manner in which to make a donation to Journey.
